Set one 6 x 12&#8243; piece aside to use for cover.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff3.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"314\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff4.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"297\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Score and Fold each of the 5 remaining 6 x 12&#8243; sheets 3&#8243; from each outside edge as shown in diagram below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/drawing1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"321\" height=\"123\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff5.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"416\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Adhere these five pieces together by putting adhesive on the 3&#8243; areas as in diagram below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/drawing2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"806\" height=\"98\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff7.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"126\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Designer Prints:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Sections 1, 3, and 5 will have &#8220;doors&#8221; that close like the diagram below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/drawing3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"623\" height=\"201\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Cut five pieces of designer prints 5 3\/4 x 5 3\/4&#8243;. Lay out these 5 sheets on the 6&#8243; cardstock squares; this will help you design the rest of the album. Adhere.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff8.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"212\" border=\"0\" \/> \u00a0 \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff9.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"211\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Cut 6 pieces of designer paper <strong>5 3\/4 x 2 3\/4<\/strong>&#8221; for the &#8220;doors&#8221; and adhere these keeping the pattern matching.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff10.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"360\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Cut 6 additional designer pieces <strong>5 3\/4&#8243; x 2 3\/4&#8243;<\/strong> for the insides of the doors. Adhere in place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff11.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"209\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 Next cut 4 pieces of designer prints <strong>5 3\/4 x 5 3\/4&#8243;<\/strong> for the remaining 6&#8243; squares (when you fold up the album). Adhere.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff22.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"208\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cover:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Score remaining piece of cardstock 3&#8243; from each end and again at the 2 1\/2&#8243; mark. This will allow for the thickness of the book. See diagram below<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/flipflop2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"208\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff12.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"425\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ribbon:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Open the cover and using a craft knife, make a slit in the middle of the 3&#8243; scored line wider than your ribbon as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/flipflop3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"215\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff13.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"434\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Adhere ribbon to inside of the cover and thread through the slits to the front.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff14.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"234\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 To finish, adhere the book into the cover, putting adhesive only on the square of the center back.\u00a0Sticky Strip works great!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff15.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"241\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Cut 4 pieces of designer print <strong>5 3\/4&#8243; x 2 1\/4&#8243;<\/strong> to embellish the front cover and the insides of the cover.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sudsol.org\/userimages\/creativefiles\/patterns\/FlipFlopAlbum\/ff22.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"208\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Embellishments:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Front Cover: <\/strong><\/span>Cut cardstock 4 x 3&#8243;. Cut designer paper 3 3\/4 x 2 3\/4&#8243;. Layer, Close cover.\u00a0 Center on cover, applying adhesive to the left side only. When it&#8217;s laid out flat, there will be three sections with &#8220;doors&#8221; and two sections with pictures showing.<\/p>\n<p>You start folding from the right and then fold in the left.
