Example 1:

Self-Employed

Possess strong organizational, self-management and public speaking skills

Example 2:

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

Create annual sales plan for extensive product line; identify potential customers and provide product information to generate sales; work with hostesses to ensure successful show sales; develop and teach classes for customers; organize and run instructional groups for customers over a 12 month period; provide on-going customer service to retain customers; maintain financial information for small business; create and maintain a website to provide product information and ideas to customers; mentor other demonstrators regarding their business; supervise xx demonstrators in my downline, providing company information and training regarding our business

Skills:  goal-setting, teaching; coaching; organizing; generating sales; bookkeeping for small business

Example 3:

1995 – current: Self Employed – Independent contractor for Stampin’ Up!®    Stampin’ Up! is a direct sales company that produces and sells artistic rubber stamps and scrap booking supplies.  As an independent contractor, I organize and control all aspects of my business:  Sales, marketing, advertising, book keeping, product demonstrations, classes, customer support, recruiting and training.   Achieved top 20 in sales in the company, and regularly earn company sales incentives.  Personally sponsored and trained 29 individuals, currently lead a group of 72 consultants.

Other comments:

I would highlight being a “self-starter”, designing and completing projects in a timely manner and within a designated budget, adept at group presentations and able to adapt to company product changes and promotions and above all…customer service and sales back ground.
