In January of 2008, SUDSOL began it's Twelfth year!   We've come a long way and made many new friends

SUDSOL started back in Jan 96 with Sibrina Queen and a small e-mail distribution list of SU! demonstrators. That group grew to 41 people by that July.  All correspondence was done via an e-mail distribution list (i.e. using each person's address book, you had to put in everyone's email address each time you sent a message!) and was quickly becoming too cumbersome. So, during convention '96 Patti Scanlan set up the current list server that we are using today and that is when we started using the term SUDSOL (which now stands for Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing On-Line)

Just as SU! had grown tremendously in a few short years, so had SUDSOL. In 1997 our membership had increased by over 20 fold and we were generating an average of 150-200 messages a day!

In November of 1997 our service provider asked to be compensated for the server space we were using, and the administration of SUDSOL had become overwhelming. So, a poll of all SUDSOL members was taken, and it was decided that SUDSOL would convert to a Business/Stamping related only, fee list.

This was a very positive change for SUDSOL. The quality of information shared increased and became manageable for all members.

Some of the great things that SUDSOL has brought us:

• Great friendships
• Tons of wonderful card swaps
• New stamping ideas
• A place to get feedback on a new ideas
• A definite business asset!

SUDSOL would not be the fantastic place to learn and share, with out its valuable members. We thank each member for contributing to SUDSOL and making it a great group to be part of. We continue to look to the SUDSOL members, to help define the direction of SUDSOL.
